Outline of the Order of Daily Even Prayer

This site uses the longer of the two introductions and modifying the introduction by striking "mercy." and inserting "mercy, saying.", as in the Book of Common Prayer prior to the 1979 revision on the grounds that "kneel in silence...and confess..." immediately followed by a confession spoken aloud by Officiate and People is illogical.

4. The Psalm(s) apppointed for the day: according to the seven-week distribution of the Psalms in the Daily Office Lectionary, or, according to the 30-day cycle, in the Psalter, saying after each Psalm,
